What is The Bettering Branch
The Bettering Branch is a Singapore-based ground up youth-led non-profit focused on empowering youths with empathy through connection, education and service. We do this one branch at a time with our 3 branches of impact: Planet, People & Advocacy.
Our Mission
We hope to lead & champion empathy amongst Singaporean
youths, as well as dismantle the 'checkbox' culture of youth volunteerism in Singapore
via lowering the barriers to civic engagement through connection, education & service.
Not just a platform for volunteering opportunities (although we do provide many!),
we aspire to be a platform where Singaporean youths can come together to
learn, experience and
connect with the issues of today.
OUR PARTNERS
As a ground up initiative that started with 0 partners, resources and funding, we are proud to say we have worked with an extensive number of over 70 partners!!! all attained through cold emails, texts and outreach (though we'll caveat a few found us too! - which is proof that (YOU)ths don't need anything but a free email and social media account to start)
